Access Guide
Introduction (Location)
- The West Quadrangle is an open courtyard in the main building to the west of the Central Cloisters. It is bounded by the Main Building West Quad - North and South, University of Glasgow Memorial Chapel, Interfaith Chaplaincy, Main Building South West (Gilbert Scott Conference Suite), Main Building South (Court And Senate) and the Bute and Randolph Halls.
- Access from outside is by the South Front West Quad entrance.

West Quadrangle
- The West Quadrangle is an open courtyard within the main building.
- Wide stone paved paths surround a central grass area.
- The area is generally level with ramped access from South Front.
- There is bench seating at the edges of the courtyard.
- Paving is uneven in places, with stone gutters at the edges of the lawn and around a modern sculpture.
- The West Quadrangle is used for open air activities notably for graduation day celebrations.
