Access To
- Dreadnought Student Services is located on the ground floor of the Dreadnought Building, to the left as you enter through the front entrance on College Way, opposite The Galley Café.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access and shiny flooring.
- There is step-free level access to the Dreadnought Student Services.
- Dreadnought Student Services is located within the main circulation area of the Dreadnought Building. As such, there is no entrance into it.

- The nearest toilets with adaptations are located in the Dreadnought Building, not within the Student Services.
- Ambulant toilet facilities are located ahead, to the left and left again, inside the Dreadnought Student Services staff area as you enter the Dreadnought Building via the front entrance.
- The gender inclusive step-free standard toilet facilities are located ahead, to the left and left again, inside the Dreadnought Student Services staff area as you enter the Dreadnought Building via the front entrance.
- These toilets are for staff only. The nearest toilets for students and visitors are located in the Dreadnought Building outside of the Student Services area.
Counter (Dreadnought Student Services)
- The counter is located immediately to the left as you enter the Dreadnought Building through the front entrance on College Way.
- The distance from the Dreadnought Building front entrance is 10m.
- There is step-free level access to the counter.
- The height of the counter is 105cm.
- There is a lowered section at the counter.
- The height of the lowered section is 75cm.
- The counter has a television.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.

Getting Around

- There is step-free level access throughout Dreadnought Student Services, which is located in the atrium and east wing of the ground floor of the Dreadnought Building.
- Floor surfaces along circulation routes are comprised of a mixture of shiny wooden flooring and low pile carpet.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Wall-mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the Dreadnought Student Services area, and additionally each room is numbered and signed with written text on or next to the door.
- There are manual doors along the corridor to access the staff offices and student wellbeing consultation rooms.
There are no doors to access the main Dreadnought Student Services counter in the Dreadnought Building atrium. - There are four student wellbeing consultation rooms (D005 A, B, C and D), which are located at the far end of the student services staff offices corridor in the east wing of the Dreadnought Building, on the right.
Each is equipped with a staff desk (some of which are height-adjustable), a riser recliner chair with armrests for staff, and a chair with armrests for students.
The doors to each of the consultation rooms open inwards to a width of 83cm.
There is no 150cm x 150cm manoeuvring space inside the rooms; however there is in the corridor outside.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access, manual doors, doors permanently held open and narrow walkways.
- There is step-free level access into the toilets.
- There is pictorial and written text signage on or near the door.
- The door opens outwards and has a high visual contrast.
- The width of the door opening is 85cm.
- Internally the door has a high visual contrast.
- There are ambulant toilet facilities available.
- The ambulant cubicle has horizontal grab rails on both sides.
- There is a wash basin, a wall mounted soap dispenser and a hand dryer available.
- The wash basin has a push tap.
