Access Guide
Location of Room(s)
- Biomechanics Lab SF011 is located on the ground floor of Sparrows Farm, to the right from the Sports Science outside access/entrance. There is level access via the main entrance, but a slight ramp from the Sports Science entrance..
- There is ramped/sloped access from the Sparrows Farm Sports Science entrance to Biomechanics Lab SF011.

Lab(s)
- Signage for the room(s) is not available in upper and lower case lettering that is clearly visible on or near the door.
- The corridor outside the room(s) is sufficiently wide enough (150cm+) to allow wheelchair users to pass.
- There is step free access into the room(s) from the corridor.
- The door opening width(s) is/are under 75cm for the room(s).
- The door(s) for the room(s) is/are not push pad activated.
- There is no speakers desk as such in the room due to its use for a multitude of physiological work/sport.
- There is not a hearing assistance system for the room(s).
- There is not a visual fire alarm beacon in the room(s).
- There is fixed furniture within the room(s).
- The clear floor space beneath tables in the room(s) ranges between 63cm and 86cm.
- A height adjustable table/bench is not available.
- There is a/are chair(s) with armrests on both sides within the room(s).
- The room does have an unobstructed minimum turning space of 150cm x 150cm.
- Floor coverings in the room(s) are not even.
- The door to the room is 71cm wide with one door, but with both open it is 142cm wide. The other leaf though was locked at time of survey. The doors are heavy, manual and open away from you. The room has a large mat, crash mat, running machine and various other sporting equipment.

- There are counters at the back of the room for a workspace and there are posters on the wall identifying parts of the human body.
- The room has various Qualisys cameras (8) dotted around the room and a projector.
- There are a few wires/covers on the ground which could be trip hazards (photographs 8 and 9).
- The room has a garage door that could give access to outside.
