- The Library Health Sciences Building is a medium-sized building with 2 floors.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via very easy slopes.
- The Library Health Sciences Building has one entrance, which provides step-free access (via a very easy ramp, which bypasses the steps) to the ground floor of the building. There are double automatic doors (with one leaf locked) followed by a push-pad activated single automatic door at the entrance.
- The entrance is signed as "Library Health Sciences Building".
- The entrance provides step-free access (via a very easy ramp, which bypasses the steps) to the Library Helpdesk on the ground floor.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors, and to all floors, via lift.
- Floor surfaces throughout the building consist of low pile carpet, with some small shiny vinyl sections outside the toilet facilities in the Fry Wing and Grey Wing.
- There are resting areas in circulation and lobby areas throughout the building, with a mixture of seating.
- There is some overhead and wall-mounted wayfinding signage in the building. All bookshelves are clearly numbered and signed.
- There are manual doors in some areas of the library, including to access the group study spaces, silent study rooms, and individual study pods. There is also a single manual door to enter and exit the stairwell on the ground floor, and single automatic doors to enter and exit the stairwell on the ground floor and first floor. All other doors in the building are permanently held open.

- There are 4 toilets with adaptations.
- Toilets with adaptations are located on the ground floor, straight ahead past the security barriers at the entrance, to the rear right of the Fry Wing, and to the rear left of the Grey Wing; and on the first floor, straight ahead and on the left as you exit the lift lobby/stairwell.
- The transfer space varies between left and right in the toilets with adaptations.
- The male and female step-free toilet facilities are located on the ground floor, straight ahead past the security barriers at the entrance.
- The gender inclusive step-free toilet facilities are located on the ground floor, to the rear right of the Fry Wing and to the rear left of the Grey Wing; and on the first floor, straight ahead and on the left as you exit the lift lobby/stairwell.

- Payment machines are located on the campus, outside the Mary Seacole Building.
- There is not a payment machine with controls at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.

- The car park is ANPR controlled. Payment is made at the end of your stay using the on-site machines, in advance using the online booking system, or online by midnight using the Trust app. Please visit the website above for information on the latter two options. Unless booked in advance, Blue Badge holders must enter their registration into the on-site machines or the Trust app to avoid a penalty charge.

- This entrance is located at the front of the building, opposite the Wren Building and diagonally opposite the David Fussey Building.
