Getting Inside
- The approach to the building varies depending on the direction of travel.
- There is step-free access (via very easy slopes) on the approaches to the building from Greenwich High Road and the footpath leading from King William Walk.
- There is step-free access (via slight slopes) on the approach to the building from the south east, along Stockwell Street. This is the route from the on-street Blue Badge bays and Burney Street Public Car Park.
- Stockwell Street Building 10 has one entrance, which provides step-free level access to floor 0. There are two sets of double automatic doors at this entrance.
- The entrance is signed as "10 Stockwell Street - University of Greenwich".

Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors, and to all other floors, via lift.
- Floor surfaces along circulation routes consist of shiny vinyl flooring and low pile carpet.
- There are resting areas throughout the building with a mixture of seating.
- Wall-mounted wayfinding signage is not provided in the building, but the facilities on each floor are signed in lift lobbies and near the stairs, and all bookshelves are numbered and signed with written text.
- There are not manual doors along circulation routes throughout the building; however, there are manual doors to access some of the study rooms and booths off of the main library.
- There are library card activated automatic security barriers to enter the library within the building, and push-pad activated automatic doors to enter and exit the lift lobbies on all floors.
- Some of the study pods within the library are accessed via a single step.

However, it was being used as a construction site compound and was therefore closed when the building was surveyed (September 2025). The nearest campus car park while the works are ongoing is the East Gate Car Park, located off Park Row at the eastern boundary of the Old Royal Naval College.
