- Signage for the room(s) is available in upper and lower case lettering that is clearly visible on or near the door.
- There is step free access into the room(s) from the corridor.
- There is a slight ramp/slope for access to the room(s).
- The width of the ramp/slope is 100cm.
- The ramp/slope has handrails on both sides.
- There is not a hearing assistance system for the room(s).
- There is not a visual fire alarm beacon in the room(s).
- There is not fixed furniture within the room(s).
- The clear floor space beneath tables in the room(s) ranges between 70cm and 78cm.
- A height adjustable table/bench is not available.
- There are no chairs with armrests on both sides within the room(s).
- The room does have an unobstructed minimum turning space of 150cm x 150cm.
- Floor coverings in the room(s) are not even.
- The room comprises of various sub-divisions with tables and a few chairs. The walls are used to present work (photographs 2-7). There is an alternate ramp to access the area on the other side which has a slight slope and is over 150cm in width. There are other similar gallery/workspace areas in Studio 1020 that comprise of tables with a height of 65cm, sub-dividing walls for presenting work and also trip hazards. There is step-free access and no ramps within this studio (photographs 8-10).
