View
- N Block - Teaching Block is a medium building with 3 floors.
- The building has 2 lifts.
- The building has 2 staircases.
- The building floors are signed as: Ground, 1 and 2.
- N Block is located of the Street Area / Atrium Building of the De Haviland Campus. There are external entrances to the south of the Teaching Block Building and atrium which lead to the corridors between Blocks M and N and Blocks N and R.
- There are two sets of lifts and stairs one shared between the Blocks M and N and one shared between Blocks N and R.
- The lifts and stairs are located in the corridors located between blocks M and N and N and R. They are not located within Block N itself.
- There are no toilet facilities.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level.
- Entrances into N Block are located with the Academic Block and Atrium Area.
- This area can either be accessed from The Street or via entrances located to the southeast of N Block or the southwest of N Block.
- Access into N Block on the ground floor accesses into lecture theatres N101, N102 and N103 only.
- Access into the first and second floor is available step-free via the use of the Academic Block and Atrium lifts situated in the corridors between N and M Blocks and between N and R Blocks.
- Once inside N Block there is no access between floors meaning it is necessary to exit the building use the external lifts and stairs in the corridors and re-enter the building on order to move between floors.
- The most accessible entrance surveyed was the southern ground floor entrance off the M and N Blocks corridor.
- This entrance gives access to rooms N102 and N03.
- There is step-free level access at the most accessible entrance.
- There is no main entrance for the building.
- There are more than 10 other entrances.
- 2 of the other entrances have step-free level access.
- More than 5 of the other entrances have step-free level access via lift.
- There are entrances on the ground floor that provide directly into lecture theatres N001, N002 and N003. This includes an entrance via platform lift which is used to attain step-free access to the speaker's areas of lecture theatres N001 and N002.
- There are entrances on the first, and second floors accessed by the lift shared between M and N Blocks and N and R Blocks.
- There is no internal access within N Block between floors.
- There are four entrances on the first floor and four on the second floor.
- One entrance on the first floor and second floor can only be accessed from M Block.
