Getting Here (Getting to The Oaks Nursery)

  • By Road View
    • The Oaks Nursery is located at the end of Park Wood Road which connects at the other end to Giles Lane in campus.
      Giles Lane connects the A290 Whitstable Road.
      The Nursery can also be reached via access roads off the A290 Whitstable Road.
    • The Oaks Nursery has its own parking which is available for University Pink or Blue permit holders, Blue Badge and University Access Permit holders or visitors who have to pay and display.
  • By Bus View
    • There are frequent Unibus services linking the University campus with the centre of Canterbury and Canterbury East and West train stations.
      The nearest bus stop is on Parkwood Road close to the Pavilion and Indoor Tennis and Events Arena or on the A290 Whitstable Road.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest train station is Canterbury West, to the north of the city centre.
      There are buses linking the city centre with the University campus, with stops about 5 minutes away from the station.
