Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include changing rooms, meeting room, Pavilion bar and function room.
- Services / facilities within the grounds include Indoor Tennis Courts, Old Pavilion (additional team changing rooms) grass pitches for football and rugby, all weather tennis courts and pitches.

- The existing indoor tennis courts are due to be closed and demolished starting in May 2019.
- The building will be replaced with a new facility which will combine indoor tennis courts with conference and event facilities.
- This is due to open in early 2020.
- During the construction phase there will be some disruption to the site car park and to some of the outdoor courts and pitches.

By Road

- The Pavilion is located off Park Wood Road, which connects to Giles Lane. Giles Lane connects the A290 Whitstable Road with the University's Canterbury Campus.
- The Pavilion shares a car park with the Old Pavilion and the indoor tennis and netball centre. The car park requires a University Pink or Blue Permit, Accessible Parking Permit, Blue Badge or pay and display.

- There are frequent Unibus services linking the University campus with the centre of Canterbury and Canterbury East and West train stations. The nearest bus stop is on Parkwood Road close to the venue.

- The nearest train station is Canterbury West, to the north of the city centre. There are buses linking the city centre with the University campus, with stops about 5 minutes away from the station.

- The sports facility is working towards IFI (Inclusive Fitness Initiative) accreditation and staff have received IFI training.
- Within the grounds of The Pavilion are the Old Pavilion, which is used as an overflow facility at busy times and the indoor tennis and netball centre.
