Access Guide
Location of Room(s)
- B01 is located on floor B of the Gateway Building .
- There is step free access from Gateway Building via lift to B01.

- Upon entry to Gateway Building there are stairs to the right which take you to floor B.
There is a second entrance to B01 which is accessed by the lift.
Upon exiting the lift the room is located 3m to the left.
It is a single width door (without a number or signage); it has a width of 85cm which opens outwards (pull) and may be difficult to open.
Teaching/Seminar Room(s)
- Signage for the room(s) is available in upper and lower case lettering that is clearly visible on or near the door.
- The corridor outside the room(s) is sufficiently wide enough (150cm+) to allow wheelchair users to pass.
- There is step free access into the room(s) from the corridor.
- The door opening width(s) is/are 75cm+ for the room(s).
- The door(s) for the room(s) is/are not push pad activated.
- There is step free access to the speaker's area at the front.
- The height of the speaker's desk/table is 100cm.
- The speaker's desk/table is height adjustable.
- There is not a hearing assistance system for the room(s).
- There is not a visual fire alarm beacon in the room(s).
- There is not fixed furniture within the room(s).
- The clear floor space beneath tables in the room(s) is 64cm.
- A height adjustable table/bench is not available.
- There are no chairs with armrests on both sides within the room(s).
- The room does have an unobstructed minimum turning space of 150cm x 150cm.
- Floor coverings in the room(s) are even with no trip hazards.
- Picture 1 shows the entrance which is accessed by the stairs.
Picture 2 shows the entrance which is accessed by the lift.
There are two speaker tables left and right as the room was once two seperate teaching rooms.
Right side speaker table is height is 90cm.
