Location of Room(s)
- A01 Seminar Room is located on Floor A near the internal entrance to the Coates Building.
- There is ramped/sloped access from Coates Building internal entrance to A01 Seminar Room.

Teaching/Seminar Room(s)
- Signage for the room(s) is available in upper and lower case lettering that is clearly visible on or near the door.
- The corridor outside the room(s) is sufficiently wide enough (150cm+) to allow wheelchair users to pass.
- There is step free access into the room(s) from the corridor.
- There is a slight ramp/slope for access to the room(s).
- The ramp/slope does not have handrails.
- The door opening width(s) is/are 75cm+ for the room(s).
- The door(s) for the room(s) is/are not push pad activated.
- There is step free access to the speaker's area at the front.
- The lectern is height adjustable.
- The lectern can be adjusted between the recommended heights of 80cm and 110cm (lowest part).
- There is a hearing assistance system for the room(s).
- The hearing assistance system was not tested at the time of the survey.
- There is not a visual fire alarm beacon in the room(s).
- There is not fixed furniture within the room(s).
- The clear floor space beneath tables in the room(s) is 67cm.
- A height adjustable table/bench is not available.
- There are no chairs with armrests on both sides within the room(s).
- Furniture can be moved to allow a turning space for wheelchair users.
- Floor coverings in the room(s) are even with no trip hazards.

- There is a second door into this room which is also over 75cm wide. However there are 2 steps to go down after entering. These steps are clearly marked, are 17cm high and 17cm deep. There are no handrails.
