Visitors Car Park to Ramp or Steps

Ramp or Steps to Lenton Hall Drive

Cripps Hall Guest Annex Entrance Road to Beeston Lane

  • After crossing the road continue on the path for 55 meters.

  • A further 8 meters along the path there is a dropped kerb to the right.
  • Continue to follow the path for 10 meters to Beeston Lane and around to the crossing on the left.

Beeston Lane Crossing

  • At Beeston Lane there is a crossing to Cripps Health.
  • The crossing is a zebra crossing with flashing Belisha beacons on either side.

Beeston Lane Crossing to Marmont Cafe

  • After crossing Beeston Lane turn right.

  • Head along the road for 28 meters to the wooden bin store on the right.
  • At the bin store turn right.
  • On the left there is a sign on the wall for the Department of Architecture and Build Environment.
  • Continue ahead and round to the left.
  • The surface changes to concrete and there is a steep downwards slope for 8 meters towards the archway and gates.
  • Go through the archway for 10 meters.
  • For 3 meters the gradient is an easy uphill before levelling out.
  • There is a structural post on the right.
  • The Marmont Café is ahead and the Centre for Renewable Energy is on the right.

Marmont Café to Department for Architecture and Build Environment

  • At the Marmont Café turn right and head along the path at the side of the Centre for Renewable Energy.
  • The path 175cm wide and the surface is concrete paving.
  • There is a steep downwards slope for 1 meter along the pathway.
  • There are lighting posts and grass on the left of the path.
  • At the end of the path turn left.
  • The path is a steep downwards slope for 8 meters which then becomes an easy upwards slope for a further 10 meters.
  • The surface of the path is textured concrete paving.
  • After 10 meters turn left.
  • The path narrows to 90cm and the surface is concrete paving.
  • Continue along the path for 11 meters towards the entrance to A21a of Lenton Firs.
  • Turn right and continue for 2 meters to the ramp.
  • The ramp is a steep downhill gradient.
  • There is a handrail on the right at 110cm high.
  • After 7 meter the entrance is on the left.
