Getting Inside
- The Mandela Building is situated on a hill with a slight gradient.
- The most accessible route from Shaw House accommodation has a long slope with a slight gradient.
- The most accessible route from the Mary Seacole Health Innovation Centre adjacent, or from the Library opposite has a long slope with a steep gradient.
- There are 2 entrances, the main entrance to the front of the building, and a further entrance to the right-hand side of the building.
- The main entrance has double automatic doors.
- The side entrance has a single manual door.
- The main entrance is signed as 'Mandela'.
- The side entrance is not named or signed.
- The main entrance provides step-free access to the ground floor.
- There is a short steep slope before the main entrance.
