Accommodation Overview

The approach to the building is step-free via a slope with a very easy gradient.
There are 2 external entrances into the building.
There is a stepped entrance next to Bede House which is overcome by a ramp with a slight gradient.
There is also an entrance next to the Howard building which has a slope with a slight gradient.
Both entrances provide access to the ground floor of the 2 stairwells within the building.
The entrances are both signed 'Newman House'.
There is also an internal entrance from within the adjoining Howard Building, which also provides access to the ground floor of one of the stairwells within the building.

There is only stepped access to standard accommodation on the first, second, and third floors.
Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth.
The fourth floor is out of bounds for purposes of access.

This entrance is located in the corner of the quadrangle next to Bede House.
