Access To
- PH.219 is on the second floor of Parkstead House, to the front-right of the building near Stair D.
- View information on Parkstead House (opens new tab).
- The most accessible route has a lift, a slight ramp or slope and manual doors.
- The distance from the Stair D lift is 7m.
- There is numbered signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into PH.219.
- There is a single manual door which opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 86cm.
- The door has a low visual contrast.
- There is a similar entrance into the room from the access corridor behind the lift.
Teaching
- This is a teaching room.
- There is step-free level access throughout the room.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- Floor coverings are even with no trip hazards.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- Lighting levels were even at the time of the survey.
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
