- The Diner is closed between 14:00 and 17:00.
Getting Inside
- The approach to The Diner from Digby Stuart Square is step-free and level.
- The approach to The Diner from the direction of Bede House is via a slope with a slight gradient.
- The approach to The Diner from the Dorothy Buchanan Building is via a ramp with a steep gradient.
- There is a single entrance into The Diner, beneath the covered walkway between The Diner and the Howard Building.
- This entrance has automatic double doors.
- The entrance is signed as 'THE DEN DINER & CAFE AT UNIVERSITY OF ROEHAMPTON'.
- The entrance provides step-free level access to the Diner and the College Kitchen.
- There are other entrances into the Diner from Digby Stuart Square, opposite The Hive Cafe.
- These entrances are usually kept closed in cold or inclement weather.
Entrance
- This entrance is located beneath the covered walkway between the Howard building and Newman House.
- The entrance area is clearly signed.
- There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance.
- There is a key fob/card reader at a height of 115cm.
- There are double automatic doors at this entrance.
- The doors open towards you.
- The width of the opening is 190cm.
- There is a small lip on the threshold of the opening.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
- There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 98cm.

- This area has a counter where food and drink can be ordered, staff who can provide assistance with ordering and designated seating.
- Full table service is available on request only.
- Menus are wall-mounted, digital and displayed on the counter.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and takeaway cutlery.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
