Access To
- The Whitelands Canteen is located on the ground floor, to the rear-right of Parkstead House, opposite the William Morris Lecture Theatre, next to Stair C.
- View information on Parkstead House (opens new tab).
- The most accessible route has a slight ramp or slope, doors permanently held open and shiny flooring.
- The slope has a slight gradient.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into Whitelands Canteen.
- There are double manual doors which are permanently held open.
- The width of the opening is 175cm.
- The doors have a low visual contrast.

- This area has a counter where food and drink can be ordered, staff who can provide assistance with ordering and numerous seating options.
- Full table service is available on request only.
- Menus are wall-mounted and displayed on the counter.
- The following dietary requirements can be catered for: gluten free, dairy free, lactose free, nut allergy, vegetarian and vegan.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups and takeaway cutlery.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
