Introduction
- Facilities within the Sports Centre include a swimming pool, fitness suite, sports hall, two squash courts, dance studios and SSPE rooms, and café.
- Services within the Sports Centre include wellbeing and support services and the Sports Union office.

By Road

- The Sports Centre is located in Glasgow on Cathedral Street that runs between Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Glasgow Queen Street Station.
From the M8 westbound, at junction 15 use the left 2 lanes to take the A803 exit to Cathedral Glasgow Cross.
Continue onto Stirling Rd.
At the second set of traffic lights, turn right onto Cathedral St.
The Sports Centre will be on the right. From the M8 eastbound, at junction 15, use the right hand lane to merge onto Springburn Rd/A803 towards Cathedral/Glasgow Cross.
At the first traffic lights turn right onto Castle St/A8 and pass the Royal Infirmary.
At the next traffic lights, turn right onto Cathedral St.
The Sports Centre will be on the right. - The building does not have its own car park. There are Blue Badge bays and standard paid parking bays on St James Street. The nearest public car park is Cathedral Precinct Car Park on Cathedral Street.

- Glasgow Queen Street is 600m from the Sports Centre. Take the Hanover Street exit, turn left and then right along Cathedral Street. The Sports Centre is on the left. High Street is a closer station, but it is below street level and has no lifts. It is not accessible to wheelchair users.

By Underground

- The nearest Underground Station is Buchanan Street which is 750m from the Sports Centre. From the station exit go up Buchanan Street and turn right on to Bath Street. Continue on to Cathedral Street. The Sports Centre is on the left. The station is underground and has no lifts. It is not accessible to wheelchair users.

SSPE Rooms and Dance Studio
- The SSPE Rooms on Level 1 (SS105, SS107, SS108) consist of a large room that can be combined or subdivided into 3 rooms (photographs 1 and 2). There are 3 sets of similar entrance doors to each section. They are heavy, manual double doors with a clear width of 154cm.
- There is bleacher pull-out stage seating at one end (photographs 3 and 4).
- The Dance Studio on level 3 is used for fitness and yoga classes as well as dance (photographs 5 and 6). It has a similar set of heavy, manual double doors with a clear width of 154cm.
Sports Halls and Squash Courts
- There are two squash courts on level 1 (photographs 1 to 4). The doors open away from you, are 84cm wide and heavy.
- There are two multi-purpose sports halls on level 4, Sports Hall 1 (photographs 5 and 6) and Sports Hall 2 (photographs 7 and 8).
