Location of Room(s)

RM1.01 is located to your left on exiting the main lift on the Mezzanine floor in the Arts Building.
There is step free access from both entrances to the Arts Building to RM1.01.

The corridor outside the room(s) is not sufficiently wide enough (150cm+) to allow wheelchair users to pass.
There is step free access into the room(s) from the corridor.
The door opening width(s) is/are 75cm+ for the room(s).
The door(s) for the room(s) is/are not push pad activated.
There is step free access to the speaker's area at the front.
The height of the speaker's desk/table is 68cm.
The speaker's desk/table is not height adjustable.
There is not a hearing assistance system for the room(s).
There is a visual fire alarm beacon in the room(s).
There is fixed furniture within the room(s).
The clear floor space beneath tables in the room(s) is 68cm.
There is a/are chair(s) with armrests on both sides within the room(s).
The room does have an unobstructed minimum turning space of 150cm x 150cm.
Height adjustable benches / tables and chairs with armrests on both sides can be provided on request.
There are four separate entrances into the room the only step free one is via the main lift.
This entrance has signage stating that the room is RM02 Exhibition Gallery (photographs 1 and 2).
The room can also be accessed off the main staircase on the Mezzanine level, here the room is signed as RM1.01 (photographs 3 and 4).
There is a spiral set of 15+ steps leading directly to the entrance where the door is signed RM1.01 (photographs 5, 6 and 7).
The lift from the lower part of the Mezzanine floor leads directly into this room there is no signage for the room at the lift (photograph 8).
