Introduction

  • Services / facilities within the building include one café space with coffee tuk tuk and cakes/snacks (term time) and two hot food order points, meeting rooms, a changing places, accessible toilets, standard toilets and standard showers.
  • Services / facilities within the grounds include a restful garden.
  • The Seascape and Landscape rooms are for appointments/meetings and not open to the public. The Woodland rooms are for student facing events only. Students can use the open plan areas for study and socialising.
  • Bookable spaces are available at the Woodland rooms (3 meeting rooms and one larger workshop room which can be divided in two) and can be booked for student facing events. Contact [email protected] with booking enquiries.

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The University campus is located to the north of Brighton, accessed off the A27.
      From the centre of Brighton, take the A270 Lewes Road. Just before it meets the A27, turn onto Stony Mere Way and continue past the Sports Centre and Sussex House. Turn left onto North South Road, then turn left going down Boiler House Hill. Take the first right onto Refectory Road. The Student Centre is on Refectory Road, opposite Lancaster House Road.
    • Pre-arranged visitor parking is available in Car Park 4, located outside Sussex House.

  • By Bus View
    • Bus routes 5B 23, 25, 25X, 28, 29, 50 and 50U run from the centre of Brighton to the campus. Route 84 runs from Woodingdean to the campus in the morning. There are several bus stops located throughout the campus.
