Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • UAL Central St Martin's Archway campus is based in Upper Holloway in the London Borough of Islington. The Archway campus buildings are located on Elthorne Road off Holloway Road (A1) and are located outside of the congestion charge zone.
    • There is on street parking available on Elthorne Road.
  • By Bus View
    • There are a number of bus routes which stop close to the UAL Central St Martin's Archway campus buildings on Elthorne Road. The following bus routes stop on Holloway Road close to Elthorne Road.
      From Highbury and Islington station the 43 bus, the 271 bus and the 263 bus all travel along Holloway Road and stop close to Elthorne Road.
      To get from Kings Cross to Archway take either the 17 bus or the 390 bus.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest London Overground station to the UAL Central St Martin's Archway campus is Upper Holloway which is approximately an 8 minute walk away from Elthorne Road where the buildings are based.
      However, all of the London Terminal stations are within reach of the campus using public transport.
  • By Underground View
    • The closest tube station to the UAL Central St Martin's Archway campus is Archway (Northern line High Barnet branch).
      Highbury and Islington station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines) is 1.8 miles away from Elthorne at the far end of Holloway Road.
      Holloway Road station (Piccadilly line) is 1.3 miles away from Elthorne Road.

Getting Around

    • There are doors in corridors which have to be opened manually.

    • There is not clear signage for building facilities/areas in the foyer/reception area.
    • There is clearly written directional signage at key points of circulation routes.
    • There is some flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.

    • There is also an outdoor seating area which can be accessed via the main foyer through a heavy door which pushes away from you with a width of 100cm and a short slight ramp with a no handrails and a width of 127cm (shown in photographs 8 and 9).
    • There is further access to the outdoor seating area via the main indoor eating area through a heavy door which pushes away from you with a width of 100cm.
    • The indoor eating area has microwaves available with the lowest at a height 110cm of and a sink at a height of 71cm. A hand sanitiser and paper towels are placed at 142cm high (shown in photograph 7).
