Outdoor Spaces (Gardens and The Great Polish Map of Scotland)

  • Outdoor Spaces View
    • The following outdoor facilities are available: woodland, parkland and formal gardens.
    • Surfaces for the outdoor spaces include: grass, concrete or tarmac, compact earth and gravel.
    • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
    • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
    • There are more than 3 steps with handrails, more than 3 steps without handrails, slight slopes without handrails and steep slopes without handrails in the main areas .
    • There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
    • Access to the grounds and the Great Polish Map of Scotland are via the rear of the hotel. There is a path to the left of the hotel which has a step, as shown in photographs 5 to 8.
      The step-free route from the rear of the hotel is to the right around the pond near the gazebo.
      There is a steep slope near the map which can be bypassed by an easy slope following the signage.
      There is a raised viewing platform accessed via a spiral staircase. There is a long slope with uneven surfaces down to the altar. There is stepped access directly from the side of the hotel via the footbridge.
