  • Drem Station is located approximately 7.2km (4.5 miles) south-east of Gullane Bents car park. It is a Category B station with level access to both platforms, but a connecting footbridge with stairs between platforms. There is no direct public transport link from Drem station to Gullane.
    Alternatively, use North Berwick Station and take the bus to Gullane. It is a Category A station with step-free access to all platforms.

Outdoor Spaces

  • Access Point View
    • This information is for the access point located at the front of the car park, on the left as you face the sea.
    • There is step-free access at this access point, via ramp/slope.
    • The slope does not have handrails.
    • The slope has a slight gradient and a width of at least 150cm.
    • This is an open gap at this access point.
    • The width of the gap is 122cm.
    • There are bollards at the access point which have a minimum width of 122cm and are 88cm high.
    • The bollards do not contrast visually with the paving.
    • The main access path past the gate leads to a beach access path on the right, the toilet block on the left, and the accessible viewpoint picnic area on the right.
      The beach access path is long, between 75cm and 150cm wide, and sloped with a long slight slope that becomes steep at the bends.
      The beach is sandy with soft sand at the access points from the beach paths.
      The beach to the right, next to the information boards, is narrow and steep.

  • There is a manual door which opens outwards and has a good colour contrast.
  • The door has a lever twist lock.
  • The width of the accessible toilet door opening is 97cm.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 147cm x 227cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
