Outer Walkways (Vicarage Road)

  • There is step-free access along Vicarage Road.
    The paths and road have a tarmac surface and are slightly uneven in places.
    The path on the stadium side has a slight slope towards the road, outside of turnstiles 15-18 and the accessible entrance at Gate 10.
    There are 2 dropped kerbs between the road and the path along Vicarage Road.

    There are multiple dropped kerbs between the road and the path along Occupation Road.
    The dropped kerbs are located in front of each of the turnstiles and the accessible entrance.
  • Entrances for the Sir Elton John Stand are located along Occupation Road.
    Turnstiles 22-28 are used to access the Sir Elton John Stand.
    All turnstiles have step-free access.
    Gate 6 is the accessible entrance into the North Side of the Sir Elton John Stand.
    Gate 18 is the accessible entrance into the South Side of the Sir Elton John Stand.

Outer Walkways (Stadium Way)

  • The entrances for the Rookery Stand are located along Stadium Way.
    Turnstiles 29-36 and 37-43 are used to access the Rookery Stand.

Outer Walkways (Watford General Hospital)

  • This information relates to area between Vicarage Road and Watford General Hospital.
    There is a path which links the Vicarage Road pavement to the stadium, via the hospital access road.
    The path is on the opposite side of the access road to the stadium.
    There is a safety barrier between the path and the road.
    The path and road have a tarmac surface and is uneven in places.
    There are some slight gradients in places.
  • Turnstiles accessing the Graham Taylor Stand are accessed via Stadium Way (37-43) and Vicarage Road (1-11).
