Gate 1

  • Gate 1 is located on Church Road.
  • Gate 1B and 1C are for ticket holders.
  • The gate is 82cm wide.
  • The gate opens away from you.

  • After entering turn left on to the Canyon path or forward to the North East Hall entrance.

Continue ahead from Gate 1 to the North East Hall Entrance

  • The slope is steep.
  • The surface of the slope is smooth tarmac.
  • At the top of the slope turn left toward the North East Hall entrance.
  • The entrance has no doors.
  • The entrance is 6m wide.
  • There are slopes leading to and at the entrance.
  • The slopes vary between very slight and slight.
  • The surface is block paving.
  • There are accessible toilets located at either side of the entrance.
  • The nearest designated seating for ticket holders is located to the left as you enter down gangways 8 and 12.
  • You have now arrived at No.1 Court.
  • There is a slight slope leading down to the entrance.

East Canyon Path

  • Approximately 12m after the gate the surface changes from tarmac to block paving.
  • There are a number of slopes located at various points along the pathway.
  • These slopes vary between easy and moderate.
  • Continue ahead for approximately 150m before turning right on to the South West Hall ramp.
  • The Food Village is located on the right side of this pathway, together with access to the Pharmacy, First Aid and Wimbledon Shop.

Arbour Walk - South West Hall Ramp

  • The ramp leads to the South West Hall Entrance.
  • The surface of the ramp is block paving.
  • The ramp is slight and is approximately 50m long.
  • There are handrails on both sides.
  • There is no level landing.
  • At the top of the ramp turn right toward the South West Hall entrance.

South West Hall Entrance

  • Turn right at the top of the ramp and continue ahead to the entrance.
  • The South West Hall Entrance gives access to No.1 Court.
  • The entrance has no doors.
  • The entrance is 6m wide.
  • There are slopes leading to and at the entrance.
  • The slopes vary between very slight and slight.
  • The surface is block paving.
  • There are accessible toilets located at either side of the entrance.
  • The nearest designated seating for wheelchair ticket holders is located to the left as you enter down gangways 26 and 30 or by turning right to reach gangways 12 and 8.
  • You have now arrived at No.1 Court.
