Museum - Introduction

  • The Wolves Museum is a football experience for all the family, young or old.
  • Travel through time and experience the great history of Wolves and how they shaped modern football.
  • There is a specially produced cinema show in the separate screening room.
  • The Museum is split into 4 zones, The Museum Timeline, The 1877 Sports Bar, The Hall of Fame Suite and The Auditorium.
  • To buy tickets, you can purchase online via Wolves Museum and Stadium Tours - Wolves Molineux Stadium or can be purchased upon arrival to the Museum.

Matchday Opening Times

  • Museum general admission is not available on matchdays.

Non-Matchdays Opening Times

  • The museum is open 7 days a week, apart from matchdays, from 10:30am until 4:30pm. Last entry is at 4pm.

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Molineux Stadium is located just outside the centre of Wolverhampton, off Waterloo Road.
      From the North
      Exit the M6 at junction 12. At the island take third exit onto A5 for Wolverhampton.
      At the next island turn left onto A449.
      After six miles the A449 passes under the M54. Carry straight on and at the sixth island (Five Ways) take the third exit onto Waterloo Road. Molineux is one mile straight on.
      From the South-West
      Exit the M5 at junction 2. Follow the signs for Wolverhampton on the A4123 for eight miles to the Ring Road.
      Turn left on the Ring Road, following signs for Molineux.
      Take the second exit at the next two islands, pass Banks’s Brewery and swimming baths on the left and then turn left at the next set of traffic lights. Molineux is 500 yards on the right.
      From the South-East:
      Exit the M6 at junction 10. Take A454 via Willenhall to Wolverhampton Ring Road.
      At the first Ring Road island, take the fourth exit (A449 to Stafford). Continue straight on at the next two sets of traffic lights.
      Filter right at the third set of lights into Waterloo Road. Molineux is 500 yards on right.
      Road Closure Information
      Waterloo Road will be closed from the roundabout leading to ASDA up to the traffic lights at Newhampton Road from 90 minutes before kick-off, up until a period at the discretion of the Matchday Safety Officer at the end of the game (expected to be between 15 and 30 minutes).
      The following roads will be closed from one hour before kick-off, up until a period at the discretion of the Matchday Safety Officer at the end of the game (expected to be between 15 and 30 minutes); Molineux Street (at the junction with Camp Street and Sir Hayward Way), Sir Jack Hayward Way (opposite the Stan Cullis Car Park kiosk) and the top of Whitmore Hill.
      Information on road closures around Molineux Stadium.
    • On non-matchdays parking is available in front of the Billy Wright Stand and the Stan Cullis Stand.
      On matchdays there are a number of car parks available; designated Blue Badge parking is available in the Stan Cullis and Wanderers Car Park.

Getting Help and Assistance
