Introduction

This guide is based in Worcester City Centre
This route runs from St Martins Multi Storey Car Park to New Street in Worcester City Centre, via Windsor Row. Crossing the City Walls Road.
The total length of this route is approximately 0.160km (0.1 miles).
This route is divided into 2 sections in this guide: -
Section 1. The Windsor Row Walkway to New Street.
Section 2. Windsor Row to ground level.
The route has some slight and some steep slopes along the way.
Pathway surfaces are tarmac.
This route is exclusively pedestrian throughout.
The average width of the pedestrianised section of this route is approximately 180cm.
There are not any opportunities to sit and rest.

On Street Parking - There is no on street parking on the main route.
Public Car Parks - St Martins Gate Gate Multi Storey Car Park is a pay and display car park.

St Martins Gate Car Park, to New Street, using the Windsor Row elevated walkway.
The length of this section is approximately 160m.
This section is an exclusively pedestrian area.
This section has an uphill gradient for approximately 50m, crests over The City Walls Road, then has a downhill slope for 50m, before levelling off for the remaining 60m into New Street.
The pathways are Tarmac and block paving.
The pathway is 145cm at its narrowest point, which is though the double tunnel at the point where it joins New Street.

After approximately 30m there is a ramp, and set of steps to gain access to ground level.
The ramp is long with a single level area where the ramp turns though 180 degrees.
The steps are in two runs of 30 medium height steps, unmarked, with a level rest area after 15 steps.
Both the ramp and steps have handrails both sides.
All surfaces are gritted asphalt.
