Getting To (MRI and CT Scanning Department)

  • The most accessible route from car park 2 has a slight ramp or slope and a dropped kerb with tactile paving.

  • Access to the MRI and CT Scanning Department is via the entrance (Entrance 1).
  • There is a drop-off point at this entrance.
  • The MRI and CT Scanning Department is located in the Green Zone at the rear of Leigh Infirmary.
  • The MRI and CT Scanning Department is approximately 160m from the entrance (Entrance 1).
  • Enter via Entrance 1 and turn left onto the main corridor.
  • Continue ahead then turn right down the corridor towards the Yellow and Green Zones.
  • Follow the corridor to the end and turn right
  • Continue to the end of the corridor and turn left through the X-Ray Department entrance.
  • Continue ahead to the end of the corridor and the entrance to the MRI and CT Scanning Department is to the left of the reception desk.
  • Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, manual doors and doors permanently held open.
