- York Art Gallery is a bright, renovated museum in central York featuring a major collection of British and European paintings spanning 600 years. It is famous for its vast collection of ceramics (pottery), hosting over 5,500 pieces in its specialist centre, alongside classic paintings by artists like LS Lowry and modern installations.
