Getting To (Short Stay)

  • The most accessible route from the Blue Badge parking has a slight ramp or slope, a dropped kerb with tactile paving, bollards and a pedestrian crossing.
  • Access to Short Stay is via the External Urgent and Emergency Care entrance.

  • Short Stay is located on the ground floor of the Urgent and Emergency Care building.
  • Short Stay is approximately 38m from the External Urgent and Emergency Care entrance.
  • Enter the hospital via the Urgent and Emergency Care entrance.
    Proceed around the reception to your right then go through the door ahead.
    Turn right and follow the corridor.
    Short Stay is located on the right.
  • Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, manual doors and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny .
  • There are resting areas along the route.
