Access To (The Trueman Enclosure)

  • The Trueman Enclosure is located on the north side of the cricket ground.

  • The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide with handrails on both sides.

Spectator Seating Area

  • The seating area is partially sheltered.

  • Seating available includes: flip-down seats without armrests.
  • This seating area does not have a dedicated food and drink outlet.

Designated Viewing Area

  • The designated viewing area surveyed is located in the front row of the lower Truman Stand.
  • There is step-free level access to the designated viewing area.
  • The number of spaces for wheelchair users varies.
  • The view from this area is clear from obstructions.
  • Companions sit next to you.
  • There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
  • There is a toilet with adaptations close to the designated viewing area (within approximately 50m).

Toilet with Adaptations (North East Stand - Left Hand Transfer)

  • Access View
    • The toilet surveyed is located at the rear of the North East Stand, at the north end.
    • The most accessible route to the toilet has step-free level access.
    • There is step-free level access into the facility.
    • There is pictorial, written text, dementia friendly and ‘Not All Disabilities Are Visible’ signage on or near the door.
    • The door opens outwards and has a high visual contrast.
    • The width of the door opening is 101cm.
    • The door has a locking handle (with a RADAR key to access).
    • Internally the door has a high visual contrast.
    • There is a grab rail on the internal door with a low visual contrast.
  • Dimensions and Features View
    • The dimensions of the cubicle are 155cm (width) x 195cm (depth) and there is not room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
    • There is a lateral transfer space to the left as you face the toilet, however it is obstructed.
    • The lateral transfer space is 82cm (from the side of the toilet pan).
    • There is a spatula flush on the non-transfer side.
    • There is a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
    • The horizontal grab rail has a high visual contrast.
    • There is a vertical grab rail on the transfer side.
    • The vertical grab rail has a high visual contrast.
