Enchanted Village

  • The Enchanted Village is home to the woodland lodges and luxury treehouses.
  • There is the Enchanted Village Store, The Crooked Spoon and the Tipi available for the use of guests staying in the Enchanted Village.
  • Guests staying in the woodland lodges and luxury treehouses can get a cooked or continental breakfast from The Crooked Spoon.
  • The welcome desk reception is open 24 hours.
  • There is free wifi available for guests.
  • There are accessible toilets, standard toilets and baby changing facilities available within The Crooked Spoon.

Getting Help and Assistance

  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
  • Assistance/guide dogs are welcome in the accommodation but the hotel should be notified in advance so they can allocate the most appropriate room for customers.
  • A limited number of wheelchairs are available for hire and must be pre-booked from reception.
    A £20 refundable deposit is required and a rental charge of £10 applies to guests who cannot show documentation confirming their eligibility to guests who are not disabled or who cannot show proof of their disability.
    The hotel suggests that guests who need a wheelchair to travel around the accommodation bring their own for ease and certainty.
    The hotel is able to charge mobility scooters.
  • Portable induction loops which can be used around the accommodation to assist guests are available reception.
    Vibrating pagers are available from reception to guests who are deaf or hard of hearing.
    These will be activated in the event of fire alarm activation or other emergencies requiring guest evacuation of the hotel.
  • Upon arrival at the accommodation, please make reception aware of any additional assistance that you may require in the rare event of an emergency at any time throughout your stay.
    They will ensure that these needs are met in the event of an emergency.

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Alton Towers Resort is located between the M1 and the M6 and is well signposted from both motorways. Depending on your direction, the nearest motorway exits are:
      M1 Northbound – Junction 23a
      M1 Southbound – Junction 28
      M6 Northbound – Junction 15
      M6 Southbound – Junction 16
      The main entrance to the resort is accessed via Farley Lane.
    • The Enchanted Village has a main car park located off the access road.
      The luxury treehouse parking is located next to Alton Towers Hotel.
      There is a drop-off point for the woodland lodges located opposite the welcome office.
      Guests staying in the luxury treehouses can be dropped off in front of their treehouse.
      There are Blue Badge parking spaces located near the accessible woodland lodges and accessible luxury treehouses.
    • D&G Bus are operating 2 services to Alton Towers Resort.
      The X41 is a daily bus service from Stafford & Uttoxeter to Alton Towers Resort. Departing Stafford railway station at 09:30 each day, the bus route includes Weston and Uttoxeter on the way to Alton Towers Resort. The X41 departs Alton Towers at 17:30.
      The 32X is a Monday to Saturday bus service from Stoke Railway Station to Alton Towers Resort. Departing Stoke railway station at 08:55 each day, the bus route includes Hanley, Werrington & Cheadle on the way to Alton Towers Resort. The 32X departs Alton Towers at 17:30.
      Alton Towers also offers free coach parking for private parties and school trips travelling on a private hire bus.

Area - Alton Towers Hotels, Enchanted Village Accommodation and Stargazing Pods

  • Guests staying in the 3 Hotels at Alton Towers, The Woodland Lodges, The Luxury Treehouses and the Stargazing Pods are able to use all of the public facilities at the other Hotels and in the Enchanted Village (with the exception of the CBeebies Hotel, which is only for guests staying in the Hotel).
  • There are surfaced paths between the different hotels, Enchanted Village and Stargazing Pods.
  • The surface of the path varies between tarmac, block paving and compacted loose chippings.
  • There are a variety of very slight, slight and steep slopes located in places along the paths, which may prove difficult for some people.
  • There is parking available next to each area which guests can use.
  • Some of the paths run along the Theme Park access road, so caution is advised when walking beside it.
  • Some of the paths cross the access road.
  • The crossings have clear markings on the floor.
  • There is clear finger-post signage located along the paths directing visitors to the areas, including to the Theme Park and Monorail Station.

Drop-Off Point / Pick Up Point (Enchanted Village Woodland Lodges)
