Getting Help and Assistance

  • There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
  • There is a member of staff trained in British Sign Language.
  • The alternative formats documents can be provided in include: large print on request.
  • There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
  • Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.

Ride Access (Standard and Ride Access Passes)

  • Access Point View
    • This ride/attraction access point is signed.
    • There is ramped/sloped access at this access point.
    • This access point is an open gateway.
    • The width of the access point opening is 145cm.
  • Queuing System View
    • Access along this queue consists of; slight slopes going down and steep ramps going up.
    • The approximate length of this queue is 19m.
    • Path surfaces in this queuing system are block paving, vinyl and metal.
    • The queuing area is sheltered.
    • The minimum width of the queuing area is 150cm.
    • Handrails along the ramped/sloped section(s) are not provided.
    • There are not any resting/seating areas along the queue.
  • Ride Transfer View
    • There is open access to the platform.
    • Guests have to step across and into the carriage.
    • The carriage may be moving when guests are transferring.
    • Staff are unable to provide assistance when transferring into/onto the ride/attraction.
    • The gondolas can be stopped to allow stationary boarding.

Gondolas

  • The gondolas can be stopped if required for boarding and exiting.
  • The gondolas are flush with the platform.
  • There is a small gap between the gondolas and the platform.
  • The door opening widths of the gondolas range from 83cm to 110cm.
  • There is bench seating available within the gondolas.
  • There is space for a wheelchair user at the centre of the gondolas.

Ride Exit

  • Ride Transfer View
    • The carriage may be moving when guests are transferring.
    • Staff are unable to provide assistance when transferring out of/off the ride/attraction.
    • Guests have to step across to the platform when exiting.
    • Access from the platform is via an open doorway.
    • The opening width is 147cm.
    • The gondolas can be stopped when exiting.
  • Exit Route View
    • Access along this exit route consists of; steep slopes going down.
    • The approximate length of this exit route is 5m.
    • Path surfaces in this exit route are block paving.
    • The minimum width of the exit route is 150cm.
    • Handrails along the ramped/sloped section(s) are not provided.
