SSE Belfast - Accessibility Review

Conor O’Kane, AccessAble’s Champion for Northern Ireland, shares his experience of visiting the SSE Arena in Belfast using the AccessAble website and App.

The day started off with Joanne and I getting the train at Ballymena Station. The conductor was first class help I must say, as you can see on the video he assisted me on and off the train.

We arrived in Belfast and headed straight for Robinson’s Bar and I had a nice pint of Guinness.

As it was our first anniversary, we then took ourselves off to the Grand Central Hotel Belfast for a little celebratory cocktail. The concierge was very helpful and sorted me with a wheelchair accessible taxi.

After a nice dinner at Berts Jazz Bar Belfast we rocked the night away to Mumford and Sons at the SSE Arena Belfast which was a great concert.

Using the AccessAble website and App before and during my trip to Belfast really helped me to enjoy myself without worrying about finding accessible places to go.
