About Bassetlaw District

Bassetlaw has four diverse towns that offer an array of attractions, that include museums, restaurants, award-winning parks and open spaces, libraries, independent retailers, and much, much more.

While the majority of attractions can be found in Worksop, Retford, Harworth and Tuxford, we hope this resource gives people the confidence and freedom to explore our district to the full.

Commissioned by Bassetlaw District Council, as part of the Government’s Welcome Back Funding programme, this guide highlights the accessibility of our town centres, so that we can promote destinations where people feel comfortable visiting, and can be reassured of the ease of access to facilities.
