Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.
- The Michael Sterling building has two external entrances, one of which is a rear entrance and the other is the main entrance at the front of the building.
- The rear entrance has a slight slope on approach and has a single automatic door. There is level access from the entrance to the toilets and lift.
- The main entrance has an automatic first door then a second set of manual doors and a slight slope leading the ground floor.
- The main entrance and rear entrance are signed as Michael Sterling - College of Engineering Design and Physical Sciences.
- The rear entrance provides level access to the lift, a toilet with adaptations, standard toilets and a staircase.
- The main entrance provides level access to a toilet with adaptations, and a staircase.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of the building.
- There is a slight slope along the corridor to access the ground floor from the rear entrance. The rear entrance provides level access to the lift, a staircase, a toilet with adaptations and some male and female standard toilets.
