About Chesterfield College

Chesterfield College is a vibrant College based over four sites with students from north and south Derbyshire, Buxton, Derby and south Yorkshire and Sheffield thanks to our free College buses. With over 700 courses to choose from, some 8,000 students study at Chesterfield College, 4,700 are full-time, another 500 are studying for higher education courses and over 2,500 adult and other part-time learners.

We cater for a wide range of learners providing foundation courses, A Levels, Apprenticeships vocational and professional qualifications, diplomas and degrees. We are also a highly regarded centre for work-based learning, offering training in partnership with 600 employers and 2,500 learners across the region, who we deliver training and education to in the work place through Train to Gain and Apprenticeships. We have been awarded the full Training Quality Standard (TQS) and we are now recognised as one of the best UK organisations in the country to deliver employer training and development solutions. It is also the first organisation in the country to receive the Standard for Excellence in Creative Media.
