Local Offer

Information for children and young people aged 0-25yrs with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) and their families.

The Local Offer has two key purposes:

  • to provide clear, comprehensive, accessible, and up-to-date information about the available provision and how to access it; and
  • to make provision more responsive to local needs and aspirations by directly involving disabled children and those with SEN and their parents and carers, and disabled young people and those with SEN, and service providers in its development and review.’

LIVE WELL

Living Well is an initiative led by Bradford Council Public Health and Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership. It aims to address the rising levels of obesity and reduce the high levels of early and preventable deaths within the district. We want to make the healthy choice the easy choice for people in Bradford District.

Physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing can be affected by the choices we make and the communities where we live, work, play and learn. Living Well brings together partners in our communities to help us understand the challenges people face when trying to make healthier choices. The Living Well approach is to enable everyone to work together to make it easier for people living in our district to overcome these challenges.

Living Well provides information, advice, and support to create an environment that encourages and empowers people in Bradford district to eat well, move more and maintain good mental wellbeing

Equality Together is a user-led organisation that provides a variety of services to disabled people, their carers, and families within the Bradford Metropolitan District.
