Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Travelling on the A1 exit onto the A1231 towards Sunderland.
      At the first roundabout take the third exit onto Sunderland A1231.
      At the second roundabout take the second exit and stay on Sunderland A1231.
      Then, at the third roundabout, take the third exit onto the A19 slip road to Teesside.
      Merge on the A19, then take the B1404 exit towards Seaham.
      Turn left onto Seaton Lane, then turn left onto Stockton Road.
      Continue to follow the B1285.
      At the roundabout take the third exit onto Stockton Road/A1018.
      Continue on Stockton Road, then drive to Waterworks Road and Hopewood Park.
    • There is parking located around the site for staff, visitors and patients.
      The car parking is pay and display and is free for Blue Badge holders.
  • By Bus View
    • The bus services which frequently run to the Ryhope Hospital bus stop are the 23, 24, 60, and 61.
      There is an approximate 5 minute walk from the bus stop to Hopewood Park.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest train station to the hospital is Sunderland Station.
      A bus or car ride will be needed to get to Hopewood Park from the station.
