    East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT) was established in 2003 and is a large integrated health care organisation providing acute secondary healthcare for the people of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.

    We provide a full range of acute hospital and adult community services. We are a specialist centre for hepatobiliary, head and neck and urological cancer services, in addition to providing specialist cardiology services and a network provider of Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care.

    Our key commitment is to the delivery of the best possible healthcare services to the local population while ensuring the future viability of our services by continually improving the productivity and efficiency of services.
