About Edgbaston

Edgbaston Stadium is the home of Warwickshire County Cricket Club, established in 1882.

It’s one of the most successful counties in county cricket, with eight County Championship titles and the only county to complete the treble in 1994. Edgbaston has also been the venue for some of the most iconic moments in cricket including the “Greatest Test” from 2005 and the first ever Women’s World Cup Final in 1973.

Rich in history and the heart of the local community, it also serves as a hub for local events, hospitality, conferences and Christmas Parties. And opening in summer 2027, it will be home to a new 146-room Radisson Red Hotel.’
