• The passenger services counter is located on the right immediately before the entrances to the Departure Gates.
• The passenger services counter is approximately 10m from the entrances to the Departure Gates.
• There is not a hearing assistance system.

• Lighting levels are moderate to good.
• There is step-free level access in this area.
• There is designated seating available for people who require assistance.
• There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
• There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the seating area.
• There are a mixture of chairs with and without armrests and coffee tables available in this area.
• There is a portable screen that may be used to provide additional privacy and to screen off the area.

• Only Gates 01, 05 and 07 are currently in use.
• There is step-free level access at the entrance.
• The entrance area is clearly signed.
• There are double manual doors which are permanently open.
• The width of the opening is 146cm.
• The doors have a high visual contrast.
• The doors are permanently held open when in use.

Getting to Departure Gate 01 Exit

• The most accessible route to the Departure Gates has steps and bollards.
• Some flooring is shiny.
• Assistance vehicles are not available.
• There are not resting/seating areas along the route.
• Wayfinding signage is available along the route.
• Lighting levels are moderate to good.

• Passengers requiring Special Assistance will be taken by airport staff by an alternative route via the stairlift by Gate 3.

Steps to Gate 01 Exit

• The steps are located at Gate 01.
• The steps are used to access the departure gate to the apron.
• There are 10+ steps, which are clearly marked, with handrails on both sides.
• The handrails are easy to grip.
• The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
• The handrails extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
• The height of the highest step is 16cm.
• Steps are split with a resting area.
• Lighting levels are moderate to good.
• There is a stairlift operated by airport staff that may be used to bypass these steps.

• This entrance is located to the rear right of the Departure Lounge.

• The lift is located in the corridor by the unused Gate 03.
• The platform lift bypasses a small level change.
