Toilet and Changing Facilities
- There is 1 toilet with adaptations.
- The toilet with adaptations is located off the corridor to Gate 05.
- The toilet with adaptations has a right hand transfer space.
- This toilet is also used as a female standard toilet facility.
- It is also accessible from the corridor to Gate 07.
- Step-free male standard toilet facilities are located next to the toilet with adaptations toilet facility by Gate 05.
Special Assistance Area
- The passenger services counter is located on the right immediately before the entrances to the Departure Gates.

- There are double manual doors which are permanently open.

- The doors are permanently held open when in use.
Getting to Departure Gate 01 Exit
- The most accessible route to the Departure Gates has steps and bollards.
- Some flooring is shiny.
- Assistance vehicles are not available.
- There are not resting/seating areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is available along the route.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- For information on how to book assistance please visit the airport website.
- Passengers requiring Special Assistance will be taken by airport staff by an alternative route via the stairlift by Gate 3.
Steps to Gate 01 Exit
- The steps are located at Gate 01.
- The steps are used to access the departure gate to the apron.
- There are 10+ steps, which are clearly marked, with handrails on both sides.
- The handrails are easy to grip.
- The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
- The handrails extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
- The height of the highest step is 16cm.
- Steps are split with a resting area.
- Lighting levels are moderate to good.
- There is a stairlift operated by airport staff that may be used to bypass these steps.
Gates 02 to 08 Corridor Entrance
- This entrance is located to the rear right of the Departure Lounge.
- The approach to the entrance has posts.
- The doors are permanently held open when in use.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance.
- There are double manual doors which are permanently open.
- The width of the opening is 146cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
Stairlift for Gates 01 to 06
- The lift is located in the corridor by the unused Gate 03.
- The platform lift bypasses a small level change.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The external lift control buttons have a high visual contrast.
- Some of the external lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- The lift door opening width is 78cm.
- The internal dimensions of the lift are 78cm x 100cm.
- The internal lift control buttons have a high visual contrast.
- None of the internal lift controls are at the recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm).
- Internally the lift has: a separate door to exit.
