About Gloucestershire County Cricket Club

Founded in 1870, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club has a rich heritage, with cricketing icon WG Grace and Gilbert Jessop playing a pivotal role in its early success.

The club has produced legends like Mike Procter and Syd Lawrence and continues to shine with modern stars such as David Payne and James Bracey. Based at the Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol, now a premier venue hosting England international fixtures and ICC World Cup matches, the club reflects ambition and growth.

Recent achievements include the Men’s team winning the 2024 Vitality Blast, building on a dominant era led by Head Coach Mark Alleyne. In 2025, Gloucestershire took full ownership of the Women’s team, marking a new era for Gloucestershire's evolution.

The club also proudly hosts the Cheltenham Cricket Festival, the world's longest-running cricket festival. Committed to nurturing talent through Boys’ and Girls’ Pathways, Gloucestershire continues to produce homegrown stars.
