Getting To (Same Day Emergency Care)

  • The most accessible route from the Main Entrance Car Park has a slight ramp or slope, uneven surfaces, bollards and a pedestrian crossing.

  • Access to Same Day Emergency Care is via the Emergency Department (A and E) entrance.

  • Same Day Emergency Care is located on the rear left side of the A and E reception waiting area.
  • Same Day Emergency Care is approximately 20m from the Emergency Department (A and E) entrance.
  • Enter via the Emergency Department (A and E) entrance and proceed along the corridor ahead.
    At the end, turn right and continue straight ahead, going past the A and E reception.
    Turn left, continue along the corridor to the very end and the entrance to Same Day Emergency Care is located straight ahead.
  • Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny .
