Getting To The Hospital (Hammersmith Hospital and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital)

  • By Road View
    • Hammersmith Hospital and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital is located on Du Cane Road and can be accessed by the A40.
      Head east on Western Avenue/A40, towards Sunningdale Avenue and then turn left onto Old Oak Common Lane. Turn right onto Du Cane Road and Hammersmith Hospital is located on the left.
      When possible, it is strongly encouraged that you use public transport to travel to and from Hammersmith Hospital. If you decide to travel by car, please plan your journey in advance.
      There is a small number of car parking spaces, as well as pick-up and drop-off points directly outside the hospital’s main and back entrances.
    • Parking bays are situated on Artillery Lane, on the west side of the building, and at the back of the hospital in front of the north entrance to the site. Parking costs £2.40 per hour.
      There are Blue Badge parking bays situated near the front entrances to the hospital and a few more at the rear entrance. When using a Blue Badge parking bay, please make sure you display a valid Blue Badge in the windscreen of your vehicle.
      Patients and visitors can also use the Wormwood Scrubs council car park which is situated towards the back entrance of the hospital, next to the Linford Christie Stadium. The car park can be accessed via Artillery Lane and has 7 Blue Badges bays and over 200 standard parking bays. Parking costs £2.20 per hour.

    • The following buses stop directly outside Hammersmith Hospital on Du Cane Road; 7, 70, 72, 272, 283, N7.

Getting Help and Assistance (Hammersmith Hospital and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital)
