Access To (Internal)

  • The Junior Common Room is located on level 2, on the left out of the main lifts, and then through the Senior Common Room, past the Senior Common Room Restaurant serving area on the left.

  • The most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and automatic doors.
  • There is no signage on or near the entrance.
  • There is step-free level access into the Junior Common Room.

  • There are also two external entrances into the Junior Common Room on the right out of the main lifts, and then right out of the external entrance, along the Sherfield Walkway, on the right.

Entrance (External - Sherfield Walkway)

  • This entrance is located along the external Sherfield Walkway.
  • The entrance area is clearly signed.
  • There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
  • There is step-free level access at the entrance.
  • There are double automatic doors at this entrance.
  • The doors open towards you.
  • There is a push pad at a height of 75cm.
  • The width of the opening is 150cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the opening.
  • There is a push pad or push button to exit at a height of 90cm.
  • There is also another external entrance further along the Walkway next to Pizza Pi with manual double doors which open towards you.
