Getting To (Ward 6 - Newsam Centre)

The most accessible route from the Newsam Centre Visitors Car Park has slight ramps or slopes, uneven surfaces and a dropped kerb.
Access to Ward 6 is via the Newsam Centre entrance.
There is a drop-off point at this entrance.

Ward 6 is located on the second floor, on the left side of the building.
Ward 6 is approximately 8m from the lift.
Enter via the Newsam Centre entrance and proceed straight ahead past the reception desk.
Follow the main corridor to the end and turn left.
Continue ahead and the lift is located on the left.
Take the lift to the second floor and exit the lift and turn left.
Go through the manual doors and Ward 6 is located straight ahead at the end of the corridor.
Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access, a lift and manual doors.
Some flooring along the route is shiny.
There are resting areas along the route.
Wayfinding signage is provided.
Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
