Restricted access at the North stairs and lift

• Effective from Friday 8th March 2024 access to Level 1 via the North staircase and lifts will be restricted to building contractors only. There will be no access for staff or patients. Access to other levels on this side of the hospital from the lifts and staircase will be unaffected.
• From Friday 8th March 2024 onwards all access to Level 1 needs to be made via the south side of the hospital via the south staircase and lift lobby.

  • Wharfedale Hospital is located on Newall Carr Road.
    The hospital can be accessed via the A660 to the south, taking the exit on to Bradford Road and then continuing through Otley, using the A659 and Billams Hill.
    It can also be accessed from the A59 to the north, taking the exit on to Church Hill and following it along Rues Lane, Askwith Moor Road and Weston Moor Road.

  • Patient and visitor car parking is available within the main car park, which is located at the rear of the hospital grounds.
    There are clearly marked Blue Badge bays located within main car park.
