Getting To (Castle Ward)
- The most accessible route from the Peter Hodgkinson Centre Blue Badge Parking has a steep ramp or slope, uneven surfaces and a dropped kerb with tactile paving.
- Access to the Castle Ward is via the Peter Hodgkinson Centre Entrance.
- There is not a drop-off point at this entrance.
- Castle Ward is located on the ground floor and to the right of the building.
- Castle Ward is approximately 60m from the Peter Hodgkinson Centre Entrance.
- Enter via the PHC Entrance and turn right.
- Follow the corridor to the end and go through the double doors.
- Turn right and proceed ahead.
- At the end of this corridor continue through the Castle and Ellis Ward Entrance and turn right.
- Continue to the end of this corridor and Castle Ward is located straight ahead.
- Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and manual doors.
- Some flooring along the route is shiny.
