    • This is a research hub which is only open to selected participants in Lloyds Bank research projects. The research hub is located on the second floor of the 399 Oxford Street branch of Lloyds Bank.

    • When members of the public are selected for participation in research, there is an opportunity to request additional support if required.
      The nature of the research projects may determine the alternative formats in which information is available.

  • The most accessible route to the lift has step-free level access.
  • The ground, first, mezzanine, and second floors are accessed by this lift.
  • There is not clear signage in the lift lobbies indicating the floor number.
  • The lift door has a high visual contrast.
  • The lift does not have a level manoeuvring space in front of it for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
  • The external lift control buttons have tactile markings and a high visual contrast.
  • All of the external lift controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.

  • There are 4 steps with handrails on both sides.
  • The handrails are easy to grip.
  • The handrails cover the flight of stairs throughout its length.
  • The handrails do not extend horizontally beyond the first and last step.
  • The steps are clearly marked.
  • The height of the steps is not between 15cm and 18cm.
